From Me to You: A bunch of Haikus

| The light I see there

In your eyes as your voice fluctuates

Makes my fire within ignite |

| What is to come now

After the rain is gone with tears

We find our peace each year |

| Gravel in our tennis shoes

Skipping along the barren road hands held

Smiles line the silhouetted trees

Our faded pain gains costs

Change of the wind in tone overgrown

What’s life when you’re gone? |

| Bring me to my end again

Each day passes with catatonic energy inside

Ground me in my dreams |

| The passing of times hand

To humans feels like the perfect crime

Stars explode the darkness collides |

| Gather your lost dreams beneath

There is nothing you can not achieve

Begin again, turn a new doors key |

| What is time without sun

The days fall between on the sidelines

Purpose grows, climbing, ‘the fight’ |

|Live between, yes’s and no’s

There is no place you can’t go

Your right is the verbal choice |

| Beauty in the battles cause

Lost or won, we have the choice

How to live? Forgive rife. |

| When you go away baby

I always wonder, does your energy stay?

Your essence holding me suspended |

| I’m lost thinking of you

You know it’s only good thoughts right?

With your presence memories levitate |

| Hours go by, each spent

For your presence and heart song kept

Life’s dread no longer condemns |
