Our Mother Earth’s Nature

By: Hillary Murphy

Rose petals, softer than satin.

Fungal rebirth, the cycle of Mother Earth.

Rain, and fires cycle, refuel soil, a

vagrant force, Mother Natures course.

Untouchable beauty seasonal forces

Earths edge, sea salt sprays, torrential rains,

spinning ocean, tidal waves, plush green

fields, blanketed fern forest floors,

abhorrent decay, the mud, soil, crawling,

flying swimming searching surviving joy.

Rainforests sway, and play, desert heat, desolate

sea trenches, the life that’s all between,

you and me, the alive beating hearts,

senses reborn, blood cold and warm,

through every storm, pain twisting alps, swirl,

and trees lean in to whisper in wind.

The love of a soul, the only way we fit in…

To the magic of Mother Earth and

it’s nurturing nature within
